Universal Structure

You will notice that many text types follow a similar structure: Introduction, Body, Conclusion. 

The following texts require minor adjustments to the universal structure.

Creative Writing

Everybody is familiar with narrative structure: Orientation, Complication, Series of Events, Climax, Resolution. 

However, there is nothing wrong with adjusting this structure for the selective schools test. For instance, 

Narrative Structure: 

Adjusted narrative structure.

The main thing is, a story must always have progression.

Speech

Same as exposition except with speech features. E.g. Salutations + adjustments for the audience + rhetorical questions

Letter to the Editor

Personal Response

Recount

Creative Response
